GROW GREEN

What differentiates Greener Pastures from any other residential subdivision is its innovative use of vacant space to conveniently grow vegetables and harvest the benefits of organic farming. There is an allocated space within the subdivision where residents can freely grow their vegetables, fruits, flowers, or even fruit-bearing trees.

Organic Farming

With the freedom to plant and harvest your vegetables in your backyard, you can be assured of fresh and healthy organic produce. Our sandy loam soil is perfect to create your own version of Farmville.

If you decide to make a business out of your harvest, Greener Pastures has also partnered with the Quezon Livelihood and Learning Center, Inc. to provide interested residents with workshops and training programs to jumpstart your livelihood and/or agribusiness venture.

Aquaponics Technology

At the forefront of advocating sustainable strategies, Greener Pastures supports the use of Aquaponics system as an alternative farming method to maximize available resources in the community. Aquaponics is the combination of aquaculture (raising of edible fish) and hydroponics (growing vegetables and herbs without soil). As such, Aquaponics may be considered one of the most productive form of agriculture as it produces food without creating waste products.

As an agribusiness venture, you can sell your excess produce of vegetables and fish in the Sentrong Pamilihan located a few meters away from the village or you can enroll in a Farmers’ Club that will guarantee you a regular source of income.
